Ministerial Decision No. 29/1986
Amending Some Provisions of the Ministerial Decision No. 23/1985 Concerning the Regulation of the Profession of Insurance Consultancy
The Minister of Economy and Trade,
Having perused the Federal Law No. 1/1972 concerning the Functions of Ministries and Powers of Ministers, and the amending laws thereof;
The Federal Law No. 9/1984 concerning Insurance Companies and Agents;
The Ministerial Regulation No. 32/1984 issuing the Implementing Regulations of the Federal Law No. 9/1984 concerning Insurance Companies and Agents;
The Ministerial Decision No. 23/1985 Concerning the Regulation of the Profession of Insurance Consultancy, and
Based on the recommendations of the Deputy Minister, and approval of the Supreme Committee on Insurance,
Decided:
Article 1
The provision of clause (4) of Article (3) of Ministerial Decision No. 23/1985 referred to above shall be replaced with the following provision:
Article (3), Clause (4)
He must be a holder of an appropriate university degree or equivalent thereof with experience in the field of insurance for a period of at least ten years, or he should be a member of one of the insurance institutes with experience in the field of insurance for a period of at least eight years.
Article 2
This Resolution shall take effect from the date of its issuance and shall be published in the Official Gazette.
