President Joe Biden said that there's no turning back on the future of the electric auto industry. He signed an executive order setting a target for zero-emissions vehicles to account for half of all automobiles by 2030. The White House estimates the new EPA rules would save about 200 billion gallons of gasoline. Biden also aims to develop standards for long-term fuel efficiency and emissions for cars, SUVs, pickups, and heavy-duty vehicles.
