Considering worldwide COVID-19 situation, India has extended International Flights Ban till October 31st, while keeping missions like Vande Bharat which brings back Indians stuck abroad intact. According to the Directorate General of Central Aviation or DGCA, this restriction will not apply to international all-cargo operations or flights that have been specially cleared by the regulator. To combat the spread of COVID-19, India suspended the operation of foreign flights on March 23, 2020. The pandemic has resulted in 33.7 million illnesses and 447000 deaths in the country thus far.
