Oman: Central Bank Allocates Fund to Assist Against Shaheen Storm Damages

Oman’s Central Bank has announced that it has allocated the fee income received by the Central Bank and banks operating in the Sultanate for the next five months in order to help those who have been affected by Cyclone Shaheen. The amount allocated is estimated to be about 7 million Omani Rials. It may be recalled that Cyclone Shaheen had swept across the Gulf Country and caused huge damage to infrastructure and other properties.
