The rise of the Delta variant of the coronavirus is keeping America wide awake in order to tackle it. Many cities across the USA are now mandating the usage of masks whilst others, such as New York, are focusing on what is more important - vaccines. Currently, Los Angeles, Washington, Louisiana, San Francisco, and several other cities have already reintroduced mask requirements indoors. The CDC's recent recommendations are being taken up more seriously as, companies such as Mcdonalds, Target, and Kohl’s reinforce the mandatory use of masks amongst their employees and customers. Other companies such as Alphabet Inc's Google, Uber Technologies Inc, and Facebook Inc (FB.O) are mandating all US employees to be vaccinated in order to come into the office.
