Dubai: In the third quarter of 2022, Dubai Police recorded a 65% decrease in criminal reports, compared to last year.
These figures were officially confirmed during the quarterly assessment session of the General Department of Criminal Investigations (CID), which was headed by Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-chief of Dubai Police.
Lieutenant General Al Marri praised the measures taken by the police officers and workforce of CID to detain the perpetrators of crimes promptly and to preserve the emirate's safety and security.
Expert Major General Expert Khalil Ibrahim Al Mansouri, Assistant Commander-in-Chief for Criminal Investigation Affairs; Expert Major General Jamal Salem Al Jallaf, Director of the General Department of Criminal Investigation (CID); Brigadier Sheikh Muhammad Abdullah Al Mualla, Director of the General Department for Excellence and Pioneering; and the directors of General Department of Criminal Investigation sub-departments attended the meeting.
