Four Uzbek nationals are facing trial at the Dubai Criminal Court for stealing 233 mobile phones and 25 laptops, these included iPhones, Samsung Galaxy phones, and MacBooks.

This theft took place from a shipping company's warehouse which is located in Dubai Free Zone.

As per the police reports the manager of the company filed a report about the theft at the Dubai Airport Police Station, on May 15.

A CID team was dispatched to the crime scene and after their investigation, they found that the warehouse had been broken into, the clip from the CCTV cameras showed that the suspects were using a lever to open the shutter of the warehouse at 2 pm and after an hour, the gang came out of the warehouse with the stolen goods, loaded them into a GMC vehicle and fled from the site of crime.

The police then launched an investigation and managed to identify as well as apprehend the suspects.

One of the accused who was arrested at Dubai Airport while trying to flee the country admitted to the crime and provided the police with the whereabouts of the other members, the police then arrested all the accused and referred them to the Public Prosecution.
