Dubai-headquartered OBH Lawyers has opened its first European office in Rome, the firm said on Tuesday, in a move aimed at strengthening legal support for growing capital flows between Europe and the Middle East.

The international boutique law firm said the expansion marks a strategic milestone in its global development and is designed to provide more integrated advisory services to Italian and international clients involved in complex cross-border transactions.

OBH Lawyers specialises in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, energy and international investments, positioning itself to capture rising deal activity between the two regions.

The firm said it operates as a single, fully integrated law practice rather than a loose network, with unified governance intended to ensure seamless legal services across jurisdictions.

“The firm was built to serve capital flows that increasingly move between Europe and the Middle East as one market,” Antonio Biasi, partner and global head of the corporate department as well as head of Europe, said in a statement.

The Rome office will be led by Biasi and is expected to focus on high-value cross-border mandates, particularly those involving Italian investors and Middle Eastern capital.

OBH Lawyers said the new office strengthens its European footprint while reinforcing its positioning as a legal and strategic bridge between the two regions, at a time when international investment flows continue to expand.

The launch also signals the start of what the firm described as a new growth phase centred on highly specialised international advisory work.
