The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation has officially announced the Eid Al Fitr holidays for private sector employees in the UAE for 2025. Employees across the country will enjoy a paid holiday from Sunday, March 30 to Tuesday, April 1, to celebrate the occasion.

Holiday Extension Possibility

If the month of Ramadan concludes on its 30th day, the holiday will be extended to Wednesday, April 2, as per the announcement from the ministry.

Public Sector Holidays

Earlier, the UAE had also declared holidays for public sector employees. The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) announced that public sector employees will have holidays from April 1 to 3, with official work resuming on April 4.

In case Ramadan lasts for 30 days, the 30th of Ramadan will be observed as an additional public holiday, extending the Eid Al Fitr break.
