The UAE’s Health and Prevention Ministry has announced that it has launched a protocol for providing booster shots of the Pfizer-BioNTech and Sputnik V vaccines.
These vaccines have been approved for emergency use.

Senior citizens; residents who are over 60; those with chronic diseases, 50 to 59 year olds at risk of complications and people receiving long-term health care who are 18 and over should take the booster dose.
It does not apply to those who/ have who have had the Pfizer-BioNTech or Sputnik V booster doses after being fully vaccinated with Sinopharm, it is reported.
