His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Ruler of Dubai, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, issued Decree No. (39) of 2021 forming the Board of Directors of Dubai Academic Health Corporation. Dubai Academic Health Corporation, established under Law No. (13) of 2021, aims to improve the growth of health services in Dubai by establishing a new academic system that blends healthcare, medical education, and scientific research. The Corporation aspires to improve the quality and accessibility of Dubai's healthcare services in line with international best practises and standards. As part of a broader goal to improve the knowledge economy, it also aims to strengthen scientific research and academic excellence in Dubai's medical and health science industries. The Corporation's other major objectives include expanding the pool of medical and research personnel. The corporation works to build a conducive environment and also work to enhance Dubai’s healthcare capabilities.
