The Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) based in Dubai has suggested the schedule change as per the new weekend system.

The KHDA had published a post on Instagram regarding the new work week system to be applied to private schools. The four-an-a-half day work week will apply to pupils and staff alike beginning from 3 January 2022.

As per the announcement on social media, Saturdays and Sundays will be marked as holidays while the schools will close for the weekend from Friday afternoon. The schools in Dubai are also permitted to change working hours during the week to aid teachers complete the curriculum.
