Gulf National Fined Dh20,000 and Ordered for Deportation

A Gulf national woman has been sentenced to six months in prison and fined Dh20,000 by the Dubai Criminal Court after being found guilty of public intoxication and assaulting law enforcement officers.
Incident Details
The woman, identified as R.H., was arrested recently while intoxicated in a public place, where she caused a disturbance and engaged in disorderly conduct. She also assaulted members of the Dubai Police and used obscene language against them.
Dubai’s laws strictly regulate alcohol consumption, permitting it only in licensed venues such as restaurants and lounges. Drinking in public spaces remains illegal.
