Eid in UAE- Public Sector to Have 9 Days Holiday

The UAE cabinet had approved a weeklong Eid-Al-Fitr holiday for all the government workers starting from Saturday, April 30th lasting till Friday, May 6th, to resume work from Monday, May 9th, 2022. Pertaining to this the Dubai government has also approved 9 days of holidays with regard to Eid-Al-Fitr for all government employees. The official holiday is to start on Saturday, April 30, and end on Sunday, May 8 with the office to resume on May 9, Monday 2022. 

A paid Eid holiday for all private-sector workers was also approved by the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation for a period from 29th Ramadan through 3rd Shawwal 1443. 
Following the cabinet decision, the Sharjah Directorate of Human Resources has also approved amending the stardate of the Eid Al Fitr holiday.
