Sharjah Launches First ‘Itmam’ Judicial Services Centre to Streamline Court Access
Initiative aims to simplify procedures, expand emirate-wide reach and elevate service standards through public-private collaboration.
The Sharjah Judicial Department has inaugurated the first centre under its “Itmam” judicial services initiative, in a move aimed at strengthening access to court-related services and improving the overall user experience across the emirate.
Announcing the launch, Chairman of the department, Judge Dr Mohammed Obaid Al Kaabi, said the initiative is designed to modernise judicial services, enhance customer experience and simplify procedures through strategic partnerships with the private sector, including Injazat.
The launch marks a step towards more efficient service delivery, with authorities highlighting faster processing and improved accessibility for residents seeking judicial services.
Plans are already in place to expand the network, with additional centres expected to be rolled out across different areas of Sharjah in the next phase. The expansion is intended to bring services closer to communities and support quicker, more seamless access.
Al Kaabi said the initiative reflects a broader effort to upgrade service quality, noting that the centres will help diversify service delivery channels and align performance with international standards.
The “Itmam” initiative forms part of Sharjah’s wider push to drive innovation in public services and strengthen efficiency across the judicial sector.
