Abu Dhabi: The President of the UAE, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, welcomed Umaro Sissoco Embaló, President of Guinea-Bissau, during his official visit to the UAE. Their meeting at Qasr Al Shati in Abu Dhabi focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation across key sectors, including economic development, trade, and investment, reflecting their shared vision for progress and prosperity.

Sheikh Mohamed conferred the Order of Zayed, the UAE’s highest honour, upon President Embaló in recognition of his contributions to strengthening UAE-Guinea-Bissau relations. In return, President Embaló awarded Sheikh Mohamed the Amílcar-Cabral Medal, Guinea-Bissau’s most esteemed decoration, acknowledging his dedication to enhancing bilateral cooperation across multiple domains.
