UAE Public Prosecution to Unveil Digital Justice Innovations at GITEX Global 2025
Smart Translation Centre, AI Ethics Charter and futuristic prosecution projects to highlight vision for a tech-driven justice ecosystem.

The UAE Public Prosecution has announced its participation in GITEX Global 2025, taking place at the Dubai World Trade Centre, where it will present an integrated suite of smart digital solutions aligned with its strategic vision for a digitally empowered criminal justice system.
Its participation reaffirms its role as a pioneering judicial authority harnessing emerging technologies and artificial intelligence (AI) to advance justice, enhance efficiency, and strengthen transparency across judicial processes.
Foresight Initiatives Under ‘Prosecution of the Future’
Under its Prosecution of the Future 2045 and AI Strategy 2025–2030, the Public Prosecution will showcase several forward-looking projects.
Among them is the Virtual Prosecutor Assistant Project, which streamlines the process from case reporting to resolution through secure digital audit trails. The project enables prosecutors and legal service teams to access accurate information instantly, improving efficiency, reducing bureaucracy, and supporting informed decision-making through real-time legal references.
Another highlight is the Legislation Digitization Project, which transforms legal texts into machine-readable, AI-powered formats. This system links actions with their relevant conditions and penalties, enabling rapid charge classification, automated judgment execution, precise analytics, and seamless integration across the justice ecosystem.
Launch of the Smart Translation Center ‘Bayan’
The Public Prosecution will also launch the pilot phase of its Smart Translation Center ‘Bayan’, an AI-driven platform for real-time translation and interpretation during investigations and trials.
The system offers two-way voice and text translation with dialect recognition—including the Emirati dialect -- and securely stores recordings as certified legal references. It also features speech-to-text, text extraction from images, and a multilingual legal dictionary. An intelligent control dashboard ensures translation accuracy and governance, helping to speed up proceedings and guarantee reliable communication in multilingual legal contexts.
AI Ethics Charter and Governance Policy
The AI Ethics Charter and Governance Policy will also be unveiled, setting out a framework for the responsible deployment of intelligent systems. It focuses on transparency, explainability, privacy, and risk management, ensuring human oversight at every stage. The initiative strengthens decision-making quality and fosters public confidence in the justice system’s use of AI.
Youth debate and White Paper launch
On the sidelines of GITEX, the Public Prosecution will host a youth debate titled “Virtual Witness or ChatGPT: In the Balance of Criminal Justice” and a panel on “The Ethical Governance Framework for AI in Criminal Justice.”
It will also release the White Paper for the Governance of Emerging Technologies Summit (GETS 2025), summarising summit outcomes, analysing sectoral challenges and opportunities, and presenting a governance framework with local and international recommendations for the justice sector.
Counsellor H.E. Dr. Hamad Saif Al Shamsi, UAE Attorney General, said: “The Public Prosecution reaffirms its commitment to accelerating the pace of criminal justice and to the responsible use of AI and emerging technologies within a robust governance framework. Our participation in GITEX translates innovation into measurable outcomes that enhance justice, uphold rights and freedoms, and build public confidence.”
The UAE Public Prosecution invites visitors and media representatives to explore its pavilion at GITEX Global 2025 -- Dubai World Trade Centre, TDRA Pavilion (H18–B10) -- from October 13 to 17, 2025, and discover the future of smart justice in the UAE.
