Guidelines for New Year’s Eve celebrations in Dubai have been announced Dubai’s Supreme Committee of Crisis and Disaster Management.

The committee has identified 29 locations that will have a display of fireworks. As per the committee’s announcement on social media, face-masks must be worn at all times, failing which a fine of Dh3,000 will be slapped on the violator.

Social distancing must also be observed in addition to wearing face-masks and following already existing protocols. The new guidelines are put into place by the committee as a precautionary measure.
