UAE Offers Condolences over death of Indian Defence Chief and other Victims of IAF Chopper Crash

Following the shocking incident of a chopper crash that took 13 lives in India who included the Indian Defence Forces Chief, the UAE has offered its condolences to the families of those involved in the crash.

On Wednesday, an Indian Air Force helicopter that was carrying the Indian Chief of Defence Staff, General Bipin Rawat along with his wife Madhulika Rawat and senior Indian Army Officers crashed in Coonoor District of Tamil Nadu state.

The tragic accident took the lives of 13 occupants and the pilot survived with 80% burns. The helicopter was taking the occupants to the Defence Services Staff College in Wellington, Tamil Nadu state for a lecture that was beginning at 3 PM.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation tweeted about its condolences to the Indian Government and families of the victims.
